8-15-08 More Embryos

So much time has passed since my last blog!!! Wow. I have tried the MySpace thing and don't really like it. I think that it is for teenagers mostly. At least my teenager is on it 24/7!

I have had 2 more transfers. The first was successful but the heart stopped at 9 weeks and 3 days. I had a D&E and after embryo analysis, it was determined that there was an extra chromosome on #22. Trying to find a syndrome for that one? You won't find one. It is basically incompatibility with life and would have never grown to term anyway.
My last transfer at the end of July was not successful so here we go again. I just found out today that M will have more eggs harvested and we should have another transfer the 2nd week of October.
So, no Susan G. Komen I guess this year. Unless I am allowed to leisurely walk it, it will be a week before the transfer and usually that time I am in the "no exercise" phase. Will see what I can do about that.
Drat the waiting though! I have to wait 2 more months! I just got used to the thought of waiting until the end of this month and now, October will be the earliest that we can do embryo transfer again. Oh well, guess that you really can't rush biology, though in so many ways we can control it!
