7-18-07 Hemorrhoids are not your friends!!!

Inevitable in pregnancy what with the extra weight we carry and the prenatal vitamin induced constipation that we endure...the doctor says not to worry and to up the fiber and take sitz baths. Yea, have you seen how much baby I am carrying? Getting into the bathtub is the easy part but getting out....well that is a story involving a rather large Walrus and borderline rhythmic gymnastics. I almost want to roll over and get on all fours to get out cuz that would be easier, but fear that I may get wedged in and the kitties, having no thumbs or upper body strength, would be no help. Tonight, an Aveeno bath with oatmeal cuz a bug or two bit me more than once at my mom's house on Friday. It must have gotten trapped in my overalls cuz I have a cluster of bites where once I had a waist, and another cluster where the leg of my undies goes. They are painful to touch now and the topical benadryl and oral claritin is not helping as quickly as I would like. I would include a photo but the teenager is inquiring "are you done on the computer yet?!?!?!?!?!" UGH! They are not your friends either.

Until more drama or otherwise...

7-16-07 Almost there...

Only 2 weeks left till the "due date". Can't believe it is here already. Another doctor appointment tomorrow, maybe now I am dilated to a real number over 4. If it is under 4, it really doesn't count as progress.

Not sure how much time I am taking off. As of today I am not sure that more time would be better than less time. Taking it all one day at a time. I have my emotional moments but it is just like when I was pregnant with Brianna: not ready to be done with the pregnancy yet. Trying to think of it realistically but sometimes it doesn't process that way completely.

Still waiting for that "nesting" feeling to occur. Really just don't have the energy or inclination to clean house otherwise. Maybe will use time off for that?

Off to be crafty for now...
