6/26/07 Time goes by so fast

it seems...I only have 5 weeks to go and I can't decide if I am ready or not. Guess that I will know when the time comes. I am trying to read the hypnobirthing book but not going really fast on that one. Haven't read any others lately either. I am in knit mode. I have 3 more pair of booties to do and another baby sweater. Shouldn't take very long. That is pretty much all I do besides sleep. Appetite is still gone. Matter of fact, I am typing away trying to ignore the nausea (hypoglycemia) and think of an appropriate snack to have that will last until dinner. So far Peanut butter and Jelly is winning.
I have been so terrible at posting. Just as bad as writing in the baby journal. Oh well. "You do what you gotta do" as a soon to be famous friend of mine is very fond of saying.
The belly is getting bigger and some days it is higher than others. Guess he can't decide if it is time yet either. We should have a weight estimate in 2 weeks. My OB is on vacation so that is when I go back. Good for him though! Our hospital did 400 deliveries in May this year! Crazy times.
Next year I think that we are aiming for a September or October delivery. Yes I am going to do this again. There are 4 couples waiting for a surrogate right now and I am not going to be available for a while. I wish that I could help them all. I wish that I had met Laurie sooner and I could have been a surrogate sooner. Well, I am one now and that is one goal that I can cross off my list that I really wanted to accomplish in life.
