It's a boy!!!!!

Found out today at the 3D ultrasound and M and I were shocked! Sort of knew I was carrying an onery one but to just find out at 31 weeks and 2 days. WOW! Gotta switch blanket colors now. Put the pink on aside for now and start working like a maniac on the blue yarn that I got today. Too funny. I have to chuckle everytime I think it or say it...."It's a boy" hee hee hee.

Pregnancy is going great! Just tired and the appetite is gone again. Nice that it is summer though because I am eating more fruits and veggies. There are some great watermelons and giant strawberries in the store right now! I even had a fabulous pineapple from Costco for $3.

My sleeping schedule is totally out of whack with working at night but I just compensate by taking naps whenever I can and trying to get a 6 hour stretch minimum when I do sleep in the early morning or evening.

Cute prego clothes everywhere. Need to get a photo of the belly to post.

Off to get a snack and go knit again.......

5-18-07 Still cookin'

29 weeks and 3 days so far! The pregnancy is going great! I love the last 3 months when you have that cute belly and the baby is really movin' and groovin' all the time. This baby loves to hear Brianna's choir sing. It was all over my belly last night which was really cool.
I can't believe that it is almost over now. I only have about 11 weeks left! But then again, there is the next pregnancy to look forward to and then the baby I am carrying will have a sibling or 2..... It is a great job and I am helping out a couple who really wants a family.
The college wrote back that they finally reviewed my transcripts and I will have to retake only 3 sciences to get into the nursing program there. With the shortage nationwide of nurses in all fields, you would think that nursing schools would be trying harder to get their students through it! It is still all about the patient right? That is my understanding working at a hospital at least. That is how I treat my patients. It is not a problem to get them ice water or help them to the restroom or even just sit and listen for a bit. I think of how I want to be treated when I am in the hospital and then treat my patients the same and better.
We just got back from Hawaii last week. It was so nice to be in close proximity to a beach! I could totally live by a beach but not sure that I could live on an island. About a week is all that I last and then I have to get home. My ankles were huge the first and second days partly due to the heat but also, I don't regularly walk over 3 miles a day! The weather was beautiful and we spent too much and ate too much of course. I don't think that I will ever stay in Waikiki again. Next time I think that I would like to stay at a resort where snorkeling and surfing and all that are within reach. Maybe we will do Florida next time even!
Well, back to work and need to get a snack or something to eat. Until next time....
