10-15-06 New leaves...

Not literally but in a way...This is my last week in the ER! Yay. It is mostly happy that I am feeling and the teeniest bit hesitant but that is only because I am learning something new again. I almost can't wait. I will have 4 days off and then 3 in a row in my new unit: 1 day shift and then 2 nights. Then I have a bunch more days off and then start a pretty regular schedule. It is very exciting because the ER job was esentially a "safe" job. One in which I didn't need to think much or do much. It definitely wasn't a step up as working on an actual unit will be, towards nursing. I splurged on payroll deduction and got 2 new sets of scrubs. So tired of the burgundy ones right now! But have them as backup until I can start making a little more and then can maybe get more. Will have to take down the box of my favorite tops and see what fits still. That way I will have more variety. Variety is always nice.
Well, off to watch another movie. Trying to stay inside today and not go anywhere or "buy" anything. Have 2 knit projects on standstill cuz ran out of yarn to finish them so need to see what else I have started to work on so I don't think that I have to get out and buy more yarn yet. It can wait until Thursday!
