9-15-06 Amazing
how things that you thought you loved, do you more harm than good. For example, for the past 3 years or so, Hot Tamales,Red Hots, and cinnamon gum give me awful heartburn. I was drinking Vanilla Chai last week and though I might die (not really but it hurt really bad). Heartburn again! UGH! I love cinnamon. Makes me wonder what is going on. Of course soon I will be having heartburn with everything because of pregnancy! YAY! I think that the 30th will be the "transfer" date. I am so excited to be embarking on this adventure again! Lunch this weekend with the parents of the future child(ren) that I will be carrying. I am hoping for twins as are they! Terribly fascinating. Imagine the photo opportunities....Will have to start carrying the camera around. It is small enough to fit into a pocket. Maybe soon I will be able to purchase a tripod and stronger zoom lens.
It is fall and the leaves will start falling soon and that is a great time for photos. I didn't get out to the Reno Balloon Race and generally stayed inside too late to catch them on their eastbound race. Oh well, at least this year, I finally went to the Reno Rib Cookoff. In nearly 20 years or so I had never been. This weekend is the Air Races, but having grew up military (Air Force) I don't really care to see the planes as much as the pilots in their cute jumpsuits! Yea, will pass on that one. Then next weekend is Street Vibrations. The town will be littered with Harleys and motorcycles thinking that they have the right of way and the run of the town. I will be taking in a movie that weekend: Pirates of the Caribbean II if it is still in the theaters. Should be fun to go with mom and Auntie Joan and Brianna (who will see it for the 4th time!). We love popcorn so that will be lunch I suppose and will bring our own beverages and knitting for before the movie of course and even after the movie too. Outside if the weather is nice, there are iron benches and a few trees. Maybe will get some photos up of the needles at work. Of course B will take the photos as she doesn't knit right now. No patience. After the hullabaloo dies down in Reno with all the events, maybe I will be able to make it down to the river to take some photos too. There is a great park downtown where the river passes through.
Well, off to work now. Extra shifts for only a few more weeks and then the surrogate money will start buffering my income. YAY! Maybe Hawaii for Christmas?
